I found that by paying for my truck parts that have a long lead time with a 6 month interest free credit card, I actually don't mind the wait at all! Gives me time to pay it off before I get it!

I paid for mine using PayPal credit. Same sort of deal. Its also nice not paying out of pocket for something you won't be receiving for at least another month. Less shock to my wallet.

I am certainly interested, I had planned to mount a solar setup on the front 1/4 of my rack in front of the RTT, but something that hid under the toprac and came out for use would be excellent.

    *NEW PRODUCT ANNOUNCEMENT!!*

I'm happy to show you a new product from dmg_overland and his buddy Mike. This is a mounting bracket for mounting your ARB awning off the rear of the Prinsu roof rack!

I plan to have it mounted for a trip next week and do a full install/setup/review and post it in my build thread! More to come!!

I'll be getting a CabRac. But having a slide out solar array would be cool. I'm interested to see how its done.

Also, anybody know how much quicker I'd be getting my rack since I opted out of the powder coating? Just curious.

I'm going to answer my own question in the case that anyone else is looking to do the same. The Front Runner top mounted accessories use hex head bolts (3/8 or so) that are inserted (threads up) and removed from the track at pre-drilled holes in the cross bars. As the heads on the these bolts will not fit into the slots in the Prinsu crossbars, I picked up some stainless 1/4" carriage bolts (around 3/4" long, didn't have to be exact for my application), washers, lock washers and nuts from Lowes and used them in the place of the supplied hardware. One thing to consider is that unless you drill holes in the crossbars, the bolts aren't removable without unscrewing one side of the crossbar. That's easy enough to do or you can just leave them in and re-install the washers and nuts after removing the accessory, which is what I do.

Ordered my 6’ Toprac July 22nd. Black with black rails and awning mounts. Shipped 10/13. CBI Delivery missed all the desert trips I really needed it for. Bummed but excited it’s on its way.

Ordered Sept 5. Today was my estimated shipping date. CBI responsed very quickly via email with an update.

Said they had worked through some supply issues and had stuff out for powder coat. Working through older orders first. Estimated a delay of 2.5-3 weeks.

I received a bunch of responses to my emails listing the various supply chain problems CBI was having. While it took longer than promised to receive my order CBI was good at responding to emails and keeping me updated.

Mine arrived today. Everything was well packaged with everything neatly wrapped and labeled. Each screw packet was individually labeled and packaged. Looks like CBI has set up a decent packaging and shipping operation for the Prinsu stuff. I plan to install my TopRac and awning mounts/awning this weekend. No instructions included but it looks self explanatory and there is plenty of info on the Prinsu/CBI site and TW. I’ll post back when I’m done.

    Update:
I ordered my prinsu cabrac with 40” led bar cutout and noise reduction trim back on 8/5/17. Recieved the fairing and noise reduction strip on 10/2/17. Called CBI and was told they shipped out all orders and I’d have to wait for the next batch to correct my order. Just Recieved shipping confirmation and am expecting the “rest of the rack” on 10/23/17.
Fingers crossed that I recieve the entire order the second time around..
