    Looks like it might be a good idea if you have a long drive, the door panel is hard plastic. It just rests there, it can be removed when you don't need it.

    Ha! I have the same problem ... I can't seem to find a comfortable place to rest my left arm. While that thing is pretty heinous looking, it might be helpful on a long trip. Up to now I was contemplating sticking a firm foam pad onto the window trim with velcrow. Good find!

    I stuck a piece of velcro on the door panel when the truck was new, I always rest my arm there and it was too hard.

    I'm going to order one of those and see how it does. It's not that expensive. I'm kind of a "function over form" guy.

    I just set something soft on it if I'm driving for a long time, but other than that, I just use the door.

    I totally agree ... that's why I was hoping that somebody has found something better. So far, it looks as though nobody has! I will keep searching. Please share if you have found the cure!

    I used the wrist pad from a mouse/wrist pad combo and velcrowed it to the armrest. Found a grey colored one so it matches the color. I little cheesy but now very comfortable.

    With my 1st Tacoma (in 2006 sold it in 2012) I had the same issue. As a computer guy, I used a gel pad simuler to what you might use while moving a computer mouse or a Gel wrist pad (these might be too long). I just bought my 2nd PreRunner last week and have the same issue now. I'm waiting for this to arrive from Amazon (about 9 inches):

    The one I had with my first Taco was this but I only used the wrist pad (it's a little short like 5-6 inches but worked., attach it with Velcro. The one I used was grey colored, sort of matches the interior.
