Yeah, hard to hold off but probably would be worth while to see your options. Reason why I ask if the 17's are still being built along side with the 18's is that a dealer is having a 17 delivered toward the end of November. A white off-road DCSB manual with tech for 34,600.

I'm going to guess if she's coming from the Tiguan, which is car like, she's not going to like the T4R, which is like a truck.

I love my 16' T4R, but it's not for everyone.

No she had the gx till Dec 2014 and then got vw tourareg diesel. I kept the gx as 3rd vehicle. She never drives anything but hers unless getting serviced. She just likes the 18 tiguan and it's small but more mid sized and handles and rides good. Plus 26 mpg on hwy. She would rarely drive it unless hers is in shop

My first thought when seeing this new grill is either an emergency fan belt that you can change the length like a chain, or some kind of chain you see on an old porch swing.

if you can have him give you the placeholder vin, i think the 9th or 10th digit is the model year character, if its an X then its not a valid vin yet, but a placeholder vin.

VIN starts with a 3 so it looks like an authentic Mexican taco. Wonder if the Tex-Mex taco plant is running yet? Could be the November dates we keep hearing are for Texas plant. Guess we will find out soon enough.

In researching the model I'm going after (7543), it looks like it is only produced in Texas. Seemed like TRD Sport with a MT was not listed in the Mexico plant.

So some dealers can take in 18 orders and some can't?

I was told that I had a 11/17 build date but that has since shifted to 11/20. This was on an order that was placed about a month ago. My concern is that I'm selling my Grand Cherokee privately to avoid having to trade it in and due to the gap/uncertain timing I'll have to drive the Scat Pack coming into a Michigan winter. If this is delayed much further I'm going to have to find something else since I refuse to drive it in the salt. It might just be a case of buying a Tundra that's on the lot and making due.

For the most part I'm a very patient person, but Toyota has taken too damn long to release the updates on this truck. It's October 16th for f**ks sake...

They'll surely take our money, but I'll be damned if they'll tell us what we're buying. They shouldn't be opening these banks before the release. I'm kind of kicking my ass for ordering it and believing the dealer that I had 4-6 weeks for delivery.

The late arrival the Tacoma is not a delay. Toyota models are released in a staggered fashion so dealer have time to deal with the new models as they come in. The 18 Sienna also hasn't arrived.
