Love these wheels! 16x8. I have a 265/75/16 Cooper ST Maxx tire on 'em.

^^^^^ I got a blue ribbon as well and i was thinkin abiut getting matte gunmetal also but the black and bronze sr8s would look cool too. so many decisions.

@Djamie how do you like how it looks? Would you get them again? got anymore pics?

I was originally going to get black, but I'm really glad I got the gunmetal instead. They still look dark and unassuming in most lighting, or when they are dirty. The gunmetal just has a little more pop while still being low key in my opinion. Have you checked out the Blue Ribbon Thread? I remember seeing some other folks who had gunmetal wheels, and some with bronze too. I think the bronze looks really good as well, but definitely pops out more.

I'll work on getting some fresh photos :)

Yeah Black is the most conservative color to get and bronze will be the most flashy color to get and gunmetal is in between. I think I'm going to stick with gunmetal. Yeah Iv seen the thread best color there is haha. I know pic don't do these wheels justice but it's still nice to see.

No one ever came through with the pictures I asked for last month... so I decided to take my own. These are on my 2005 Speedway Blue 4x4 TRD Sport. I've had the truck since it was brand new... currently at 149k miles.

I do have a mild 2" lift from Headstrong that uses the HS Coil/Bilstein 5100s and AAL on the rear. I opted for the SPC UCAs as well. Even with the lift, the front wheels (265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grappler G2s) are rubbing when going in reverse and turning out of my driveway. Need to figure out where to trim. I had no rubbing issues with the OEM sport wheels.

Do these have the gloss or matte black lip? Willing to split them up? Need one for a spare myself.

Whats your caster, if your around 2 you shouldn't rub with that tire size and those wheels, pretty sure. I have the Ray 10s and same tire size, and after I had my wheel alignment done the rubbing was gone.

What kind of meat can you run with the 17x8.5 without rubbing?

265/70/17 will probably be as big as you can go without too much rubbing. And you'll probably still have some minor rub with that size, especially with mud flaps on as you do in the picture.

Would a slight leveling kit make it easier? Then again I’m not sure if that’ll void my warranty.

This is where my front tire is rubbing. I have a 2" leveling kit. See my previous post for details. Not sure what my alignment numbers are but I'll definitely look into that before I do any trimming. 20171027_163017.jpg

Of course. I have a few people asking for them but I can't let them go just yet, I am moving next week and its not in the budget to buy rims and tires just wanted to see who would be interested.
They are the gloss black lip.

That matte gunmetal looks sweet with that red. Can't wait to get a set of matte gunmetal for myself
