I have been really impressed with their work. I have around 100k on the swap now and it has been flawless since day 1. Communication didn't seem to be their strong suit but I know they are a small shop that has a crap ton of business lined up. Their work is worth the wait and price tag though IMO

The next trip over the mountains was to pick up the RTT :broccoli: We went with a Mt Shasta Standard Stargazer Summit in grey. Dealing with Bobby and his team was an excellent experience. They took the time to answer all of our questions and make sure we got exactly what we wanted. Also being a TW member gets you %15 off  Took it out into the desert that night to camp before heading back home. Got hit with some rain and stayed perfectly dry inside the new digs.

The method center caps that came with the wheels were just foul looking. So I chopped them apart and fitted in OEM TRD caps

I have noticed lots of aftermarket suppliers for wheels. Are these a true beadlock? It would save gobs of time and money to find some aluminum bead locks!

Sliders are a great investment btw!

Finally got around to boxing in the rear frame. With the RTT and bike rack off the back I was getting some notable bed/frame flex and this definitely seemed to help.

    Mocked up
    687D0A4C-11C0-4EA5-8868-640E8823A817.jpg
Cross bar added in and I cut and welded the factory spare parts back in. I didn’t want a swingout with the bike rack on the back and a dcsb has such limited bed space this seemed like the most reasonable option.

Did the 13WL Tundra upgrade. Stops really well, pedal feel is still a bit soft though. Going to run it a couple hundred more miles and rebleed em.

Decided it was time for a new bed rack for the RTT. The goal was to get the tent down lower to increase mpg on the highway and COG while on the trails while still offering access to the bed. I pulled ideas from @Blackdawg ‘s rack on frank. I had to come up with some creative gas strut mounting since the double cab bed has the wheel well in the front right in the way. For height I wanted to keep the tent below the cab while still being able to fit all of my gear below. This is what I came up with.

Added some bed rail mounts to brace everything and achieve some ridgity

Finished product! W/ 100 lb struts and 2000 lb locking latches with greasable hinges.

That looks great, very nice build!! If you haven't re-geared, what are your thoughts on the stock gears with 33's on and off-road?
