I'm looking for ideas on a good material to use. Searches have shown shower liner material from home depot, but I think that looks too thin and flexible. Also someone on some forum somewhere said they used thin conveyor belt material but I can't imagine where I would get something that thin. I'm tired of digging mud out of my inner box sides. I swear some days there is 50 pounds of mud built up per side and the box sides are just flopping around from the weight of it. Pressure washer does nothing, I have to dig it out with a crow bar that I keep in the truck for this purpose. Also the little cubbies in the box have been busted out from my tires cycling up and hitting them, so with them gone there remains the big holes into the box. So a ton of mud flies up into my box and all over my stuff lol. I should probably just patch those holes but I'm lazy as shit.

I used a heavy rubber floormat type material when I did the liners for my fiberglass fenders. Been working well for me for the last 6 months.

What about giant inner tubes, like the ones people float rivers with. I might see if I can get some and try them out.

Since adding the 1" Bl, I've been wanting to close the 'gaps', but too many other things to do... Include in your search pond liners

    Lowes.com Item #: 61250 | Model #: PL0710

Will give you more than enough for $40

Another option to consider is Kydex. I thought about using Kydex for mine but decided not to for cost reasons. For those that don't know about Kydex its a plastic sheet that can be purchased in different thickness and then heated and formed to any shape. When it cools it's rigid and strong. Kydex is used for all kinds of stuff like forming hosters for handguns.

    Edited.

Was thinking splash guards, not fender liners, carry on. :anonymous:
