    Despite OC'ng the cpu and the twin 1080's in sli....I cannot best my score of 24792. Matter of fact, its worse.
    Thats Basic, performance..(1280x720), benchmark only, stretched.
    cpu is 4.5 with 1oo block, xmp profile. I'm lost.
    +85 clock, +136 memory. I'm missing something somwhere. Anyone?

    I learned a long time ago that there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to benchmark scores. They're really more of a ballpark than anything. Quite honestly it could be a driver update causing you to get a lower score, maybe a Windows update added a background process that's robbing CPU/RAM resources. There's really just no way to tell. As long as you're within around 100-200 points of your highest score, I wouldn't be concerned.

    Yep. Also when you run at lower resolutions, your CPU becomes the stress point since lower resolutions are super easy on graphics cards. If you up the resolution, you're having the GPU become the stress point since higher res graphics are much more GPU dependent.

    It got chilly last night. Left the office window open overnight while my PC was on and got some low temps.

    15C on Core #4 of CPU and 20C for my GPU

    Edit: I'm anal with monitoring my temps. I have never had an issue with overheating (except when I had my Corsair H100i GTX) but I always have temperature monitor software open.
