Mod day with the GF today. Got her Squadron Sports installed and wired up my ONX6.

Changed the oil today and refilled with Mobil 1 0w-20 and used a Toyota filter. I also installed a Fumoto valve to make future changes cleaner.

The Fumoto valve clears my Pelfrey Ifs skid by about 1".
    IMG_20170528_101515.jpg

I also took the time to hook my ONX6 to the dash switches. I realized my strobe switch wouldn't work for the momentary switch that came with the bar so I improvised. I pulled the blank cover, drilled a hole through it, and mounted the supplied switch. To my surprise it turned out decent.

Decided to get away from the heat this weekend to do some hiking and exploring.

Hiked through Pine Creek trail and looped it back on the Gowan trail. First time doing both of these trails, overall pretty easy but lots of great scenery and the bridge at the end is worth the effort.

After that we packed up and head higher up on the Rim. Found a nice spot off of Rim Road and had a late lunch before heading back.

Got bored and made a trip out the Sedona to get away from the heat. Tested out the crawl control for the first time on some of the obstacles. It was actually pretty cool!

@T-rev how bad were you rubbing before CMC? Do you have your caster set all the way forward? Was it only when turning or would it rub during compression with the wheels straight forward? Did it rub before the spacers?

I didn't really rub before the CMC, but I only had 285's at the time. Shortly after I added the 295's and spacers. As for the alignment I'm not exactly sure, I'll have to find my print out. The only time I rub now is in reverse and at full compression all while turning.

I have some more trimming/persuading to do, hoping to get it taken care of tomorrow.

The permaseal is a pain to deal with. 2 hours to get the lights apart, and another 2 hours to clean out all the sealant from the headlights. Letting the paint cure for the night and I'll be putting them back together tomorrow.

Did some mods to the T4R today. Added the PRO grill and got carried away with some Plastidip.

Nice build. Quick question. In your Tacoma shot with the hid headlights and the squadron fogs. Was the onx6 on as well? Just want to know what to expect, as I'm thinking of doing the same without the onx6. Thinking of upgrading high beams to OSRAM Cool Blue Boost H9. Thanks

    Thanks!

Yeah that was with everything lit up. I'll eventually upgrade the high beams, either the 2Stroke kit from TRS or a proper Bi-Xenon Retrofit. Haven't decided yet.

Did some maintenance a couple weeks back. Replaced the bushings and uniballs on my TC uppers, took about an hour with the help with of a friend @JuansTaco. They were definitely over due for a service with well over 100k miles on them, made a huge difference.
