I'm fairly new to the community, just purchased my first Taco this past February. I bought the truck bone-stock and already installed a new lift, wheels and tires and would now like to continue changing the cosmetics of the truck with some much brighter, preferably smoked headlights. Looking for suggestions, thanks in advance

I have an ‘11 as well and was in your exact position with headlights. I’ve been through the wringer with several sets of cheap (shitty) “oem” replacements, and the best advice I can give you is to find a clouded up set of smoked, real oem take offs on Craigslist and have a shop restore them and warranty the repair. I bought a set of oem lights off of a 2008 trd sport that were in HORRIBLE shape for $50, took them to brake max and paid $79.99 to have them restored with a lifetime warranty. They look brand new, perform flawlessly, and are warrantied for $130. Much better than paying $240 a piece for real oem replacements from Toyota  welcome to tacomaworld!

Looks like you have the TRD SPORT smoked headlights already. Just buff them up and make them new again.

If you are looking for function, go with an HID projector retrofit. You can get the kits from the retrofit source if you want to DIY, or there are guys on here that do them for a fee. @LSC15 and @A7xschecter6661 are two names off the top of my head that I know do/did retros.

-Depo black bezel headlights off Amazon
    -retro fit kit from TRS

The depo headlights themselves arent terrible if you want a budget halogen upgrade. They just need a bead of silicone where body meets lens around the light to ensure water tightness.
I had mine for 2 years and never a drop of water before i went retro fit.
