After months of going off road, my leaf springs started to squeak. Not a big deal, just drives me crazy driving off road with my windows down and thinking I'm gonna be attacked by a bunch of squeaky birds. When spray my leaf springs down, the squeak almost goes away.......so, has anyone tried spraying the springs down with Ballistol? Ballsitol is pretty great stuff and sticks around awhile.

A flat screwdriver to seperate the leaves slightly and fluid film them. I also find if you give them a real good pressure washing the squeek goes away for a little or until i get dirty.

It’s mainly used for cleaning and lubricating gun parts.

I would use fluid film instead but dont see why ballistol wouldn't work.

Ditto, I personally don't like using one lube for everything.

On the 17's they put a little rubber spacer between the leafs to get them to stop squeaking. Couldn't you just by those spacers and install them?
