Thanks, I will keep an eye out for the RCI. I'm certain it will be pelfreybilt, really like my front. Considering Mobtown for skids as I have their full plate, bolt on, sliders and gate reinforcement and it's all high quality. Skids will probably be last because most of what I play on is sand and dirt atm.

I remember it was sorta discussed a while ago, but I don't remember well. Can y'all recommend a dealer, preferably north of the perimeter? Any good honest dealer, not just a Toyota place. As long as it's not a sketchy buy-here-pay-here roadside outfit.

I'd like to avoid the stereotypical salespeople as much as possible. I do remember hearing NOT to go to McDonough Toyota to avoid those.

I go to McDonough Toyota and it isn't too bad... granted the guy that has taken care of me and my Taco just moved dealerships.

Cherokee County Toyota treated me fair when I bought my truck. I have not used their service dept, so I can't comment on them.

Mall of GA toyota gave my dad a good deal on his tundra... The techs are ABSOLUTELY RETARTED is the only downside.... But if you want a cheap used truck, they price low and then move from there on used trucks

I'm thinking about going to a 4Runner for my next vehicle. Originally I wanted a 3rd gen Taco, but the more I think about it the more I don't like rear drum brakes. Plus I like the luxury options on the 4Runners that you can't get on the Tacos since traffic makes me sit in this thing for at least an hour, maybe 2. I know that's being super picky, but whatever. Haha. I just don't know how bad I'd miss having a bed for mountain bikes and stuff.

Alternatively I saw that some dealers around here having used Focus ST's. Would be a blast to drive and killer on gas savings. And way cheaper upfront too.

Not in any hurry at all though. 2nd gen tacos aren't exactly known for dying.

T4R's are bank. I love my wife's runner. Gas milage leaves something to be desired, but handles and rides great on and off road. fold down the back seat, and you have a lot of room for cargo. For that matter, I think the back storage area alon is rather roomy. The question there, is, if you don't mind hauling dirty stuff in the back of your SUV?

I grew up with an old 2nd gen Explorer (back when they were still just Rangers with a covered back), so dirty crap in the back doesn't bother me much; I'd get another weathertech cargo liner or something for back there. It's more so that with bikes for example, I can just roll up my tonneau, hook it to my rail mounts, and be on my way. SUVs would take a little more finagling I think. Not impossible but something I think about.

For the record, a 4Runner is the only SUV I'm thinking about. All the others on the market I'm not a fan of.

Yeah, that's an option. I have a cheapo Bell one that isn't the greatest but could always buy a better one.

I realize I could get excommunicated here for saying this, but I'm not gonna lie. Used FX4's have definitely been catching my eye...
