    Anybody run their truck with a Prinsu rack through a car wash? I know Costco has a touchless car wash so I might try it or might not...

    I’ve only ever been through touchless with it and have had no issues in probably 5-10 washes! Using one with those brushes or whatever sketches me out though..haven’t tried that.

    Anyone install a load panel yet? Came with 2 short and 2 long pieces of plastic "edge trim" but couldn't figure out how to get that stuff and the panel slid into the t slots and not have the panel just rattle around.

    Put the trim on the load panel first then slid the panel into the t-slots on the cross bars. It might be easier to remove the crossbars you are using for the load panel and then reinstall the crossbars and load panel on the side rails as one whole part rather than trying to slid the load panel into the t-slots on the cross bars.

    The load panel should not be loose or rattle around when installed correctly.

    Not sure why I didn't think of that. Sliding trim into t-slot, then trying to slide panel into it didn't work catches the trim and just pushes it out the other end of the slot. Putting trim on panel then trying to tap it into the slot just broke the trim. But putting trim on, THEN sliding it into the channel together should work. I'll try that again with the trim that I haven't broken. Can that be purchased separately if I need more? Thanks for the tips! I should be able to get my rotopax mounted cleanly and easily now.

    I am using the Yakima Big Powderhound/Powderhound racks on the Prinsu Rack on my FJ. No issues fitting over the 1" 2" crossbar using the Yakima style mount shown here;

    https://www.yakima.com/big-powderhound-w-locks

    Looks like the FatCat rack style will work as well.

    I asked them the day after their estimated shipping date came and went (6 Oct 17).
    This was their response. Gotta admit. They were accurate. Screenshot_2017-10-20-20-53-29.jpg

    Can any provide me with a measurement of the height of the front fairing/wind deflector?

    :cheers:

    Height as in how far it sticks off the roof, or height as in the length of the fairing itself?

    Took just over 2 months.
    All parts were in the box.
    I notice more wind noise on only the passenger side. Not to bad though.
    Very nice rack!

    The length and width of it. Im getting ready to build a fairing with a cutout like the Prinsu racks have for my current rack.
