    hello,
my left turn signal on my '05 tacoma is blinking even if i don't have it on. if i turn on the brights, the turn signal will function as intended. it does this whether the lights are on or off. i replaced the relay for the turn signal and it fixed the issue, but it has started again. any help would be appreciated.

You might have a faulty ground wire or possibly some issue in the turn signal stock.

I think I would start with the turn signal stock. The thing that comes out of the steering wheel. If it works with the brights on since there on the same switch that might be the problem. Unfortunately the only way to look into it is to take it a part.

I would pull the cowl off the steering colum and look for any broken wires coming out of the switch, if you don't see any thing there check the contacts in the switch, make sure there clean and such.
