I'll just put a bunch of rocks and logs in my driveway so my gas gets nice and shook'd up before I drive.

Negative. Just be aware that it isn't as "fill and forget" as gasoline is. You should always use an analyzer to be safe with E85.

so whats the point of e10/15 when gasoline already has the ~10%?

Less regulation? I don't know exactly. Should that be the case, then it means the consumer gets a crappier product, and the producers get more money.

Disconnect pcv system, to remove vacuum leak potential, and route to catch can..blow by enough will put vapor mist in the can..

something like this or route from the pcv to the exhaust with a slash cut or you can vta at the can instead. but vacuum does help.

    Cold air intake
    Ethanol has a density of .789 g/ml
Petrol gas has a density of .79 g/ml.
Gas would be sinking to the bottom, not ethanol... and at a .001 difference in density, this phase change would take months or years of inactive storage to fully separate.
Sounds like this narrative is somewhat incentivized to me

    A thing or two...
Except ethanol absorbs moisture from the air which increases it's density and speeds up the separation process.

The water separates quickly. Within months. Then the water moves to the bottom. Plenty of boats and garage kept performance cars have fallen vicitm to the effects of pumping said water into the engine. I have a recent memory of a Ford GT that had to have its engine replaced. Sat for 6 months. Didn't drain in fill. Owner wanted to take it out. Towed to KP Racing very shortly there after.... sad day for the car.

I also know a person who was part of the testing, which ultimately then led to AAA giving out the PSA.

Maybe I should rephrase myself. I've seen it once. It exists somewhere. Probably one of those huge truck stops.

When I was driving through Wyoming, 4 years ago, I stopped at 4 different parts of state for gas/restroom and all the stations were 100% gas, no ethanol added.

Exactly there’s a reason boats don’t ever run without a fuel water separator ethanol and moisture even just humidity is absolutely a nightmare

Didn't someone just state gas tanks don't hold air like they use to, making this a mute point? Or did I read that somewhere else?

Edit: and this obviously wouldn't include boats, so that's a different story

I can attest, if you don't empty a weed eater after EVERY use, the ethanol gas will screw your carb/jets up. Ethanol gas ruined my dad's little 15HP Johnson (he didn't know ethanol's effects) too.

The tanks are just as airtight as they have been since emissions regulations were put into place. I have an EVAP code because I have a broken gas cap which comes loose after a few miles.

They don’t if you’re vehicle isnew New but still need to constantly vent air in while pumping leaving problems but for most of us with trucks older than 5yrs our fuel systems are even more susceptible

I have a 2005, but I'm still going E85 when I get back to the mainland, no E85 in Hawaii.

Edit: I never go longer than 10 days without a fill up
