That’s the best way I can describe it, sounds like someone is finishing off a milkshake. It happens intermittently while driving, impossible to tell where it’s coming from, I’d say the dash somewhere. It’s a distinct noise, and somewhat annoying. Never heard it on any other car before. Anyone else?

Sub’d. I have the same thing going on, been happening since I got the truck over a year ago. Mine happens under moderate acceleration from 2500rpm to the shift point. No idea what it is

Exactly. I have noticed it the whole year and a half I have had the truck too. Definitely not from any mods. Just finally have some people to ask now.

How does it shift? Maybe the tranny fluid is low? (hehe tranny)

Also is the heat or a/c on? Does turning them on/off change the sound?

Could it be a bearing going bad somewhere?

A/C does not seem to matter. Heat never on in FL. It does shift a little rough if I gas it and it wants to drop a gear, but I chalked that up to being a truck.

Mine shifts great. I’ll have to give it a shot with ac/heat, I’ve never tried or paid attention to when it happens in regards to those. My truck is getting the 120k service next week, we’ll see if that helps as they should flush and replace the transmission fluid. I’ll keep you posted @Boyk1182

Maybe it’s just a Toyota thing? I had a Honda many years ago, and it made a strange sound while turning, but I noticed it on other Hondas too after listening closely.

check your coolant levels.... sounds like yall are low on coolant and what you are hearing is air going through the heater core.

Just checked, radiator is full, overflow is at the full line. That would make sense though based on the sound.
