I went to my local dealer today and asked if they had any lying around and he gave me two for free. Said they install roof racks and throw them out. I was lucky because they just finished a roof rack that day.

Crap. The front end of the passenger side flew off mine today. I was hoping to leave this issue behind when I traded in my 2010 Tundra. Oh well. I guess I'll call the dealership and see if they'll cover it under warranty. If not, have any of you who used adhesive to hold them down noticed any issues?

I don't know what year your truck is but I'm the second owner of this truck and my local dealer fixed mine for free, no questions asked. I took it to the service bay, pointed at it and said "This blew off." They told me to leave it with them for a couple hours and when I got back he handed me the keys and sent me on my way.

You should have posted you needed one in the Buy-Sell thread. I got one for a friend there last year for $25 shipped. There are a bunch of them just sitting around in garages from roof rack installs.

I'm going to guess no. Clicked on the guy's name and he hasn't posted for almost 7 years, just a couple of months after he made this post. I'd post a WTB in the parts marketplace as these get removed for rack installs.

They’re super easy to install. I went to my local dealer and purchased them there. Pretty damn expensive though. One side was missing on my truck and the other side was worn.
