Prior to becoming a new memeber today I was reading through treads and lost the ones that would pertain to mine. Seems everyone has good feedback so here it is.. started off with heat working off & on a few times, then quit completely. Then the babble behind the dash (when engine is turned off) followed by a flapping. Both sounds can be heard occasionally running now. Coolant checked.. was low but topped off. I'm uploading a video of the 1st sound. Any feedback would be awesome! Thanks! Maybe no video.. it won't load the 10 seconds.

You have an air pocket in the cooling system.
What changed before this happened? Was the coolant changed or flushed?

Park nose up on a hill etc. With the radiator cap off warm up the engine until the thermostat opens. Then massage the radiator hoses ( be careful of the fan ) and top off for any air that comes out. It may take several rounds of this to get all of the air out.

Nothing changed prior to the babble sound and it hadn't been flushed or changed. That was the advice I had read earlier then lost the thread. Thanks a bunch! We will give it a shot today!

If nothing changed prior to this then I am thinking you may have a much larger issue on your hands as I see you drive a 2005. I hope that I am wrong, but you could be in the first stages of a blown head gasket.

OP, I started a thread today about a sound. I described it as a straw finishing off a milkshake. Is it something like that, coming from somewhere in the dash?

Boyk1182, yes that was the sound!
Sorry I hadn't been on in a while but just got it out of the shop the other day. We filled up the antifreeze on a Tuesday night, I left work the next day and checked under my truck and there laid all the antifreeze. So I knew there was a major leak. I called and made an appointment and asked when my last water pump was put on because I knew they had put one on before. She said 2012 & 2015.. I thought good golly I hope it doesn't need another one! But fortunately it was a busted hose and nothing more major!
