What the heck? My comment is inside the quote! Just saying that the CVT Tent Rhino 8541 is selling is a really nice tent.

 

@Rhino8541 were you ever able to get pics of the tent open?

 

I will get them tomorrow, I've been working 0dark30 A.M. to 0dark30 P.M. this whole week!

I wanted to completely set it up, but it was getting dark and an old lady up the road was yelling at me! If anyone wants something specific please let me know.

 

@Rhino8541 I know you said you have the annex, but there were no pics of it. Just wanted to make sure. Also could you take pics of the "scuffs: on the cover and the repaired D ring?

I've never mounted the Annex, but I can get pictures of it in the carry bag. You can see what it would look like when it is mounted on CVT's website though.

I haven't had a chance to run the hardware store to get a few self tapping screws, but I will get pictures of the scuffs on the cover for you.

 

I just looked at CVT's website. Just as an FYI, because I feel the cover will be just fine for a while as is, but you can get a replacement cover available in tan and grey as well for $100-150, depending on the size. I wish I could have gotten a tan cover from the get go!

 

I wonder what could be used to cover the holes. Maybe like a patch kit of some sort

 

Black Duct tape. I think the pictures make them look a little worse than they really are. Whoever is interested in purchase, I could take a little bit off to offset the cost of a new cover if it's a big concern.

If I lived somewhere that rained constantly, I would consider replacing it, but where I live, it's not a concern at all.

 

I thought about Duct tape, but due to the humidity in my area it wouldn't last very long. I was think something like a tube patch but not sure how well it would adhere to the PVC. I'd probably just get a new cover. I like the Tan idea also.

 

Maybe some self-vulcanizing adhesive with a rubber strip??

 

Do you ever come East? I'm in Beaumont on I-10 almost to Louisiana.

 

Not frequently, however, we could work something out, or I can look in to shipping if you are interested.
