That’d be my guess..you can buy the tune up kit on eBay for around $86....comes with everything you need.

Question, adding a mechanical boost gauge.. Do I need to use the Tee fitting that comes with it? On the SC, the boost port is just capped off. So would a 90 degree elbow hose joiner work for the tubing?

Or can i just run a tube directly from the boost port to the gauge? I know I should have a filter on there, but I am not going to run one.

I am running the smallest pulley available outside of custom options. At the time of this post I was running a 2.85 pulley. Depending on your mods you could and should run the IKH-24 plugs.

Small hands, ratchet, plug socket, sockets for the coil packs, socket for a couple brackets, torque wrench in in lbs.
Antisieze, about a half dozen short extensions, a long extension, swivels, and a floppy ratchet is ideal.

    Did i mention small hands?
Because, i damn near broke mine tryin to get in thur.

Totally worth it. If you are efficient with it, it'll take about an hour. The only one which gives a lot of trouble is the one which is furthest under the blower. The rest are fairly cake.

Anti seize is optional. I have never been one to suggest you put them on your plugs. Besides, as rich as these trucks run with the blower tour plugs should actually be replaced every 30K or sooner. Iridium plugs or not.

Replace your intake with an AFe or URD true CAI. Your intake is still bottlenecking the system even though you gained more power from removing the second filter. You have more power waiting to come through.

Question about the UCON......I’m just not too familiar with it since I never really thought of getting it......I like reliability. My build is just that....or maybe I’ve just been lucky. So would adding the UCON take that away so to speak? Have there been any problems that anyone is aware off?

    My build,
    TRD S/C with TRD reflash
    AFE CAI pro dry s
Doug Thorley shortys with vibrant high flow cats to URD y-pipe to URD Mark 3 exhaust
    2.825 URD pulley
    Walbro 2.55 fp

    Go...
