Yep. It will never go away. I'm seriously considering buying hi-flow cats and having them reinstalled just to get rid of the stupid CEL. Then maybe take the back ones off (since they don't have sensors).

I have to wonder if the ECU changes anything in how the motor runs if the O2 sensor shows something wrong. Like if it retards AFR, timing, etc?

New shocks. Replaced failed ONE 90021 with the stiffer riding 90000 units. Huge difference!!

The truck never say level even with a trim packer. So we put a second trim packer in and it finally sits level.

Also asked about my old 3rd member. Shop said that although there was metal in the fluid last time around the internals looked normal. Yet there was a lot of metal in the fluid. Makes no sense.

If you have no cats at all, take your O2 sensors and flip them in the bungs. so, the downstream sensor is in the upstream hole, and the upstream sensor is in the downstream hole. That should creat enough of a diffrence to the computer to shut off the CEL. The race header on my focus is like that and theres only about 3" of pipe between the two. if you have more, there shouldnt be a problem. the only issue you might run into, is i doubt theres enough length on the wiring to swap the sensors, so youll probably have to extend the wiring on them.

I used to have a GTO and I used spark plug anti foulers to get rid of an o2 sensor code. It pulls the o2 sensor out of the flow of the exhaust a little bit and tricks them into reading the correct value. I think the Tacoma sensors have a different mounting system but you could probably make a spacer for them. If you want to read more about the specifics just Google spark plug anti fouler trick.

Yep. All on my skid plates and bumpers. Also landed pretty hard on the rear passenger leaf spring mount.

Did a little rattle can on the rear bumper edges so it won't rust.

    20171023_155543.jpg

Damn near rolled the truck on its side coming to the end of Hell's Revenge. LoL Took a bad line got me very tipsy. Had to have @Blender attach a tow line to the rear bumper so I could back up without rolling.

Okay so I spent my evening in my tiny garage installing my new Infinity door speakers front and rear on my 2015 Tacoma DC.

I wasn't able to do my tweeters or crossovers due to time and need for mounting brackets.

That said, I do notice a difference. Listening to different types of music via Bluetooth with my Entune head unit. Although I can tell there is a GREAT need for more Highs (the factory tweeters are USELESS) I can hear the mids a lot better.

For example, the Vikings theme song (If I Had a Heart by Fever Ray) sounds way better. This used to be all bass and the voice and instruments were nearly invisible audibly. The voice is now clear and I can here the instruments!!

Disturbed sounds better, Metallica sounds better, Five Finger Death Punch, Bassnector....

Interestingly the bass (powered by Alpine amp and 2 x 10" Kicker Comp-D woofers) sounds better too.

    Some photos:

The sound barriers on the front doors was fairly impressive. Though they only cover holes on the inner skin. The large void at the bottom of the door has foam blocks and plastic with pyramid shapes. Way more than i expected to find!

The magnet on the tweeters is HUGE. But placing my ear on the tweeter it barely outputs anything more than static. Useless.

Rear speaker magnet versus the new speakers. Seriously the useless tweeters have bigger magnets!!

There is a grommet on the rear doors you can pop out to route speaker wires.

Factory sound proofing on rear door panels.

    Speakers I bought:

Nice speakers. For the tweeters and front 6” woofers I just made my own mounts with mdf board and a jigsaw. I tore off the old speakers and used them as templates. Saved me some $$. Good luck.
