Thx! I am super stoked. I ran across a few Icemans last nite. Seems they vary in price quite a bit from different models.
Theres one local to me, the guy wants $100, so I'm guessing thats like a cheap one cause ive seen some into the thousands.

Huge Ibanez fan myself obviously. lol.
Ive been drooling at several "J Craft" fugijen Ibanezes on reverb. Supposed to be the best of the best.

Picked up a Peterson strobotuner HD from Amazon.
Will help quite a bit with setting intonation.
Also picked up various Luthier tools. Frett files, gauges, digital micro, some special tools for Floyd Rose systems.
Should pay for itself in no time. $60 setup fee plus strings is gonna kill me.

Wow, you're getting all kinds of new stuff. My latest is a 2018 Gibson Les Paul Classic P-90 goldtop. It should be here Monday. I also just bought a nearly mint early 90s Ibanez TS-9.

I've got something like that in the closet. Probably not a tube screamer. It's purple.
Picked up the Jackson yesterday. Happy that I didn't hack up the body to install the Floyd.

The Ibanez rs440 is due today sometime and well as my strobe tuner and luthier tools. Gonna try and set up a work bench in a spare bedroom.

And I found some else who likes mid 80's Ibanez RS430. :)

    I found 2.
    DOD FX65b stereo chorus.
    Ibanez soundtank super chorus. (Mono).

Tried a battery on both. The DOD led lit up but got no sound.
The Ibanez soundtank worked fine but the input jack had to be in just the right spot. Edit: pushed it all the way in and it worked.

If anyone needs a couple projects...you can have them for free. I can send em out during the week.
I use my Boss me30 for everything. (Multipedel).
    No need for these.
    Just holler.

Wow! Those old pedals are starting to fetch a price! I had some DODs in the '90s and early aughts. I didn't care much for the Soundtanks. We used to sell those things for $20 to get them out of the way.

I’d be all over that offer if I hadn’t already grabbed the MXR version some time back.

Right now I’ve got my eyes on the tc electronic harmonizer “Quintessence” and I’d love to replace my old dusty Wah pedals.

So much rave on YouTube and different forums for EMB audio Wah pedals. I think it’s such a shame to no longer make a product while having such a demand for it.

She's a beauty. All my luthier tools came in so I'm gonna set this one up myself. The pro rokr trem on my 340 is blocked off. I like it that way. This rokr is floating, so not sure what I'm going to do.

Theres one on reverb for $269 and as high as some special chipped model for almost $700 :eek::eek::eek:
Did you pay anywhere near that? Sounds like an awesome pedel from the reviews.

Well, a Les Paul Special ii isn’t worth much. But a coworker with a few disabilities has reached out to me numerous times to fix this up. It kind of tugs the strings of the heart.

Lucky me, I’ve found a replacement tuner head off of Facebook marketplace. I need to sand the rust off of the frets, adjust the height so it doesn’t buzz so bad and of course, leave him with a new set of strings.

Hoping to find a cheap gig bag as well. The paint on the back is all chipped up. If I was comfortable with stripping/painting... I’d do that as well - but then I’d be sure to fully surpass the value of this guitar.

    Gonna be fun.

Sorry to hear that bud. Sounds like you have alot of great memories of him and the guitar. May I ask why you can't play it?

Sounds like a fun project indeed and very kind to help someone out. I'm all giggles about my strobe tuner. Been going thru and checking intonation and never realized how bad my ear is.

Sorry for your loss. I gave my only acoustic to my father and he’s asked me to teach him how to play. It has been well over a year now... with him in and out of clinics and on a LVAD. I need to change this.

I heavily rely on tuners to get the intonation just right. I don’t know how I would fare with just my ears. (Very poorly.) I also find clip-mode tuners to produce a value much faster than a signal. I wonder if there’s a huge -/+ in accuracy.

Those are probably some of the more desirable vintage ones. Mine's from the 90s, but still MIJ. I paid $65 for it. There are some beat up ones from the same era on eBay for $125-$130, so I think I got a bargain.

Curious if anyone's purchased Gibson in the past year or two. Most of the guitars I pick up when I go to the local shops make me wonder where quality control is. I boughta flying v in 2014, but had to take it immediately to the luthier to get the frets dressed, reset up, and all the stuff I'd expect on a cheap guitar. Not on 1k guitar.

If you've purchased, what did you get/impressions/did you need to set it up?

Thanks fella's. I'll get some pictures of my current gear in a bit for you all.

Interesting that you mentioned that. I personally havnt owned one. I have recently seen a few YouTube vids pop up about quality control issues as well in the past couple years. I did get a chance to play thru a couple epiphonew when I visited Sweetwater and even though not really on the same level, they played great.
