    here's another tip from yer Unkle John....

    Use a 32oz Hydroflask as a half growler, and it leaked? bet the rubber gasket is in upside down! one side of the clear (tpa? silicone?) seal has a lip on the inside edge. that side goes towards the mouth of the flask. the flat side of the seal goes against the inside of the cap.
