I appreciate the response. I guess this is what I have been trying to get clarification on.

I really don't care about buzzers so I'll probably just cut it off the fuse panel.

whatever but I still don't understand why you prefer to permanently destroy the buzzer when you can simply unplug it and after you destroy the circuit board, if you ever try to sell it, not having a buzzer could scare off any buyers.

I know I would RUN AWAY from any truck I was looking at and saw someone was breaking things off of circuit boards that could have simply been unplugged instead, just saying

You can literally do this is about 2 minutes. With about one minute of that being fetching and putting away a 10mm socket/ratchet and a Phillips screwdriver. Soooo easy. Ha ha

I hate to say it. But I don't know what that buzzer looks like. So I wouldn't be able to find it. Even though I'm sure it's going to be staring me right in the face! I just got done under the hood today installing my new battery hold down. I probably saw it while doing that.

Ok, thank you! I just read the that link. It says the lights will still blink when you lock & unlock the doors or hit the panic button. It is going to be a tight fit too. Since I have my ballasts and relay for my retrofits attached to that side of the fender sheet metal. I can barely get a socket on there to adjust the projector cut off. Can't wait to get that damn beep to stop!

    OME and worth every penny.
So the button in the door couldn't just be either disconnected of a wire or jumped? How about just pulling the 1 wire from that connector? I bet it can be wiggled out. It has a branch somewhere because the overhead light is independent of whether the key is in or not.
