Hey new guy here on TW. Im 90% sure im going to buy a new 2018 when it hits dealers. I was wondering if i order 2018 TRD OR DCSB with premium/tech and jbl package, can i get that without a moonroof?

No, unless they changed things up. Premium tech W JBL has a moonroof no 2 ways about it

Only feature I don't care for or use on my 2017

Premium and Tech Package is 1 option on 16 and 17, the 18s they are separate packages so you can get 1 of them without the sunroof, not sure if its the Tech package or the premium package that includes it.

Buy it in Canada... At last for the '17 model year. No moonroof on any TRD OR trucks.

    Right? It’s a Truck. Not a Miata.

    Moonroof and convertible. Big difference.

I wish Toyota would make a drop top 4WD. I’d buy one.

Not a big difference to me. It’s a hole in the roof that 16 y/o girls adore or a top that comes off so you can feel the gentle spring breeze while listening to the bridges of Madison county on audio book

Queen latifah would drive a drop top Toyota pickup if it was 1992

Many prefer a moonroof delete in the BMW ///M community. Rarely used, heavier, higher center of gravity, more rattles, less rigidity, more leaks, less headroom, etc. But those are sports cars. My wife has a panoramic moonroof and we've probably opened it 5 times in 6 years for the kids to see the trees.

If you're over 6' try sitting in a Tacoma with the moon roof first. It cuts down headroom some.

Yup, I’m right about 6’3” and when I test drove one with a moon roof I only had about one inch of headroom. I went with an Access Cab without it.

Yeah I could care less about sunroof. I have one on my 04 gx Lexus and it is rare it is open. So unless I change and order an 18 pro then I'm stuck because I want the premium and tech.

    Stock and staying that way
I use the sunroof all the time.

That said, why aren't build & price for 2018 not on toyota.com yet?
