Some jackass stops in road, you hit brakes, take a flashlight and water bottle to the dome haha. That's obviously worst case, but I actually do like this idea

Hahaha, not really. It has a front bar on it to prevent, or at least reduce, such an occurrence.

Nice! Now you can focus on spending more money on upgrades.

Does anyone have any suggestions for camping around Bend? I will be traveling up there from San Diego next week and looking for some good spots to stay.

Wickiup Reservoir is a pretty cool place to camp. Also the Metolius River sites out past Sisters is pretty nice.

You know, it sends a bad message to post a picture of your truck on a carrier. Just sayin'.

So does anyone have a good alignment shop?

But they no longer do siping. Need to get those siped, mounted, balanced and alignment none.

I've been to this place 3x with 2 different vehicles, usually after lifting and/or making alterations. The worker bees have done good work on my rides. The owner talks a lot of smack about his workers tho which makes me leave to get coffee. Anyway.... after they worked on my 4 runner I had to take it back and they put me at the front of the line to make it right. Minor issue.I'll go back.

Rite on thank you looks like a solid shop.
Know of any smaller tire shops that do tire studying and siping. Discount is like a 4 hr wait and doesn't sipe anymore

Anyone get an alignment done at Les Schwab on the south side before? I hear they can be hit or miss. New control arms and tires are going on Wed and they're the only place I've called that's not booked out over a week, so I'm somewhat desperate.

There might be a reason they're not booked... Go to the North one if you can.

Was thinking the same thing. You have experience with either the Franklin or Cooley locations? I've only used the south location once for a screw removal.

Followed up with Alignment Techniques and got someone else on the phone who said they'll be able to squeeze me in on Thurs. I appreciate the recommendation @willie64

No experience with Schwab on alignments. WAS a fan of the tire service until this past June when the runner's tires wore out too soon and they didn't want to work with me on the warrenty aspect (Franklin store). Anyway, don't go to Goodyear! They charged me $100 for a crap job that A.T. corrected and charged me half their price for the trouble. (There's a long story behind that event)
At this time, this is why I'm an A.T. fan.
