    It's a 2002. The last year of the 8-gens. It has the VVT-i motor.

    This car started out as rental car at Sea-Tac Airport in Seattle. Somehow it found it's way east and I bought it at a Honda dealership (it was a trade-in) to commute to work in back around 2008. Later, my job situation changed and I was able to start using public transit, so rather than sell it, I decided to have some fun with it.

    It sports a genuine (and rare) TRD lip kit that I snagged off of eBay for $800. Tien springs and KYB shocks, Konig wheels, Falken rubber, custom exhaust, Wet Okole seat covers, a kick-ass sound system and a URD MAF calibrator. It also has LEDs and Strobes for those night-time car shows. And a bunch of other stuff I can't remember.

    But the biggest and most intense mod was converting the rear brakes from drums to disk.

    It has a Kenwood head unit (non-CD, USB only) with XM, upgraded speakers all around (I forget what kind now) and two boxed 10 Rockford Fosgate subs in the trunk.

    1991 Hilux. I imported it the month it turned 25 years old. Solid front axle with f&r elockers and diesel engine. Great low end torque but could really use a turbo for the hills.
