4.88s for sure then, 4.56s will be an upgrade but get 4.88s or even higher depending on what your plan is either weekend warrior or full on wheeling rig

Utlimately I want to ditch the camper shell and the bed and build an aluminum pop up camper and go live on a beach in Mexico in it.

Well...I was planning on becoming a hermit. Hermits don't hang with other people. But I suppose you can come along.

Yea definitely. If I was a loaded full on wheeling rig I would have gone 529s.

I'm pretty happy with the 488s though. Loaded down into a head wind still struggles but nothing like before

PS: think this is the most action my thread has got in awhile.. gotta wipe the dust off :D

Holy crap I have some catching up to do in here. Pics from Augusts Trip up to mammoth CA area. Trip was 5 days 4 nights not including travel days. Not much wheeling on this trip but definitely a good time. Ended up catching 59 trout. Non over 16" this time though and got to checkout some cool camp spots. The second little wheeling run in August. We ran Rattlesnake canyon into bigbear.

Although my plan to connect to Jacoby canyon and into little John Bull were cut short because of the fire that happened early on in the summer, they closed most of the area until next summer (2018).

Mainly pics... cause everyone likes pics right?

This was my first run with the new gears and locker, and although I never actually had to use the locker it made things fun in the sand corners. That wash has changed so much since the last rain it felt like a completely new trail.

Sweet, looks fun. Those first few pics from mammoth, did you guys camp near the catacombs, with all the boulders? That ravine looks so familiar, out past Owens valley i'm pretty sure

Yea the pics after the first one from the mammoth pic dump was from Owens river gorge. It runs out of the south east corner of Crowley lake. Definitely some cool camping spots in there!

    Been a while...

Completed a SAS on a buddies 1st gen T4R. For my first one with little help it actually came out pretty damn good! Just a few things left like measuring for shocks and shock towers, break line tabs, measure for bump and throw a poly bump stop in there, front driveshaft measuring and order and that’s pretty much it. Drove it around tonight with my buddy and everything works great. Mad droop compared to before. Now to relocate the rear leafs and relocate the rear shocks. More cutting and welding what’s new :anonymous:

For your rear shocks is there a reason you you went with remote resis over piggyback? Just asking because of how you have yours mounted. Trying to buy mine soon and seeing what my options are. Thanks

No particular reason. They didn’t have the piggy backs with the adjuster clickers so that’s why I went with them

Big bear shenanigans today with @Andybear

Ran little John Bull, heartbreak ridge with Pontiac sluice, and ended it with a quick run through rattlesnake canyon

Ocotillo wells over New Years. Don’t usually like to hit whoops (in this truck) but this little patch was fun

I practically grew up in Ocotillo Wells riding 3-wheelers as a kid. It was our favorite since Supersition was so packed (even back in the 80"s). Nice to see these photos!
