Well, my 2010 was supercharged. I do miss that scream, but the whistle of the turbo has its own appeal. And damn, if she dont put me back in my seat when she opens up. Feels great.

I only went stage 2 on my sti. 18 pounds of boost sure was a hell of a good time. What SC kit did you have on your taco?

I had the magnuson supercharger. As far as I know, there is no boost option for 3rd gens at this time.
I am trying to stay away from the wrx/sti forums. I can't afford to do any serious modding at this time :)

Magnuson is the same as the old trd blowers. Only thing missing is the TRD logo etched on it.

nah, zero problems with my motor, just the flexing firewall. Did stage 2, injectors, pro-tune, nothing too crazy. The whole bi annual back to stock swap was a little annoying. The suby just drew a lot of unwanted attention, police, ricers, high school kids with their mom's minivan. Decided that 8 years was enough and time to move on. The WRX was my second car to supplement my first car, a 97 Tacoma. I've been very happy with my 3rd gen, I hope you will be too! Truck life is much different the than suby life though haha, okay maybe I miss it a little bit.

I went state 2 with an open source tune. Full turboback exhaust and fuel pump. I sold it before the time came to smog though. I bet it gets annoying haha. I already love my Tacoma man

My friends and I had a back to stock weekend, and we'd wrench on three or four subarus to get them ready haha. In terms of wheels/tires (from your original post) lots of people (myself included) do the TRD pro wheels on BFG K02s. But it ultimately comes down to personal preference. Where in Nor Cal are you? Shameless plug, but I do have some OEM off road-wheels wheel/tires for sale if you like that OEM look over the sports.

I didn’t have much subaru friends haha being that I’m from a really small town. That’s cool though. And yeah I like the trd wheels. I saw that they sell them at the dealership and might consider it. I basically want something that won’t rub and require a lift or leveling kit. (Don’t wonna void my warranty haha) I’m around Sacramento, woodland, Yuba City. Sound familiar?

yeah, I live in Folsom, so other side of Sac. There are a ton of wheel threads in here, but as long as you stick with a wheel dimension that's close to yours now and keep tires stock size, you should be fine. I would take a look at the Barcelona red thread and look through those guys wheel/tire setups if you want an idea of what style to go with. As for size, keep it stock, don't go bigger if you don't want to chance it.
