    265/65r17 XL measures 12/32.

Currently have these in the bed of my truck waiting to be mounted, and I'm already getting compliments on them.

Anyone have experience shipping from ebay to a Discount Tire store? If I order from ebay I'd like to go that route - should I give the store a heads up that they're coming? Am I ok to just put the store address as my shipping address?

Echoing what has been said previously, pics don't do these justice. Perfect amount of agressive looks while maintaing street-friendly manners.

That's good to hear, but after talking to Customer Service about something else, they said they'd get them to their location today and get them mounted up to the wheels I also ordered.

Pulled the trigger on these in 265/75/16. Can't wait to see how they perform in snow and off road. Love how they look too!

I was quoted 980 Canukistan Copeks for a set of these with repair and rotations for lifetime of the tire. Good deal?

I have these on my patrol rig and cover some pretty nasty terrain on a weekly basis. Haven't even been close to getting stuck.

Can anyone explain how to get the Ebay deal?? Is it two sets of two or the four? I can’t seem to find them on the DTD Ebay store. This would make it worth it to drive to the border! Maybe they are sold out?
    Looking at 265 75 r16

265/65r17 and they're XL rated. It's one of the few sizes that's XL instead of SL.

I went by my local Discount Tire today to see if they would price match. Admittedly, the guy who usually helps me and is willing to work with my weird requests was not there.

I asked, simply, if they would price match discounttiredirect on eBay. Their response was a simple "yes."

I told them about the $100 off for two tires (price was $430 before discount), so a total of $200 off for a set of 4. The salesman looked skeptical, so I added them to my cart and applied the code. He said he'd need to ask his manager. He went out to the bay and talked to a guy balancing a tire (I didn't know managers did that, must be a good dude) and came back.

The manager's answer was that they could do the instant $100 off, but the other $100 would have to be through a mail-in rebate.

    So quick math...
    via eBay: $430 - $100 = $330 * 2 (to get a set of 4, of course) = $660 shipped to my door.
    via Store: $860 - $100 = $760 *1.10 (10% sales tax) = $836 - $100 (eventually from mail-in rebate) = $736, eventually.

I told them ah, no thanks, I'll just go through the eBay store if that's the case.

His response was this, "Well, the reason they sell them so cheap with these sales is because they're old tires. Well, they're new, but their manufacture date will be more than 3 years old, so we cannot sell them in the store. If you buy them here, they're brand new tires with brand new rubber."

I didn't want to argue with the guy because he had already lost the sale, but how would that be possible if this tire was manufactured, at the earliest, in 2015? In my mind, it's not possible.

My intent was to see if they would price match per tire and extend that price out to 5. I may call them tomorrow and see if the other guy (the guy I THOUGHT was the manager) is there and willing to put up with me.

    Because this...
    $430 - $100= $330/2 = $165 * 5 = $825
... seems like a hell of a deal for 5 new 33" tires.

Trying to convince my buddy to go halfs on 5 sets of 2 so we can both get 5 tires at the discount rate...

I think its only $100 off $400? Correct me if I'm wrong.
The P 265/75/R16 just came back in stock on the EBay Site. $456 to $356 after the coupon.

I'm really hoping they're not old rubber - I doubt that would be the case. Seems like more of a sales tactic to me?

    Anyways, keep us updated.

You're correct, it is $100 off orders $400 or more.

Here are the tires I am looking at: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-NEW-LT28...211718&hash=item2cab1b5ff2:g:Ck0AAOSwNtRZ5RHM

So $430, then apply the discount code to bring it to $330, and order. Then do that again to get a full set of 4 tires.

Or, in my case, do it 4 more times to get 10 tires =)

I don't think it's possible for the rubber to be old. The tire was released in early 2016 with magazines and stuff getting them mid-2015... Unless they made them years before releasing them? I'd almost guarantee it's a sale tactic.

@Discount Tire Direct Could you guys confirm if the Falken AT3W tires sold through your eBay store are any different than whats sold regularly?

Also, has the potential P 265/75 R16 quality issue with balancing been solved?

Just ordered via ebay - hope all is well with them. Thanks
