    after looking at them, i would trust them in rain --- like with most things i dont know for how long since it does not have a proper gasket like the plano molded boxes.

    Looks like you could easily get some weatherstripping and give it a decent seal.

    only downside is the lockable holes because those allow for surfaces for water to enter between the gaps if they arent seated all the way

    Save yourself some time and get action packers. They tetris perfect in the back of a Tacoma and I've had them in the rain for days at a time without leaks.
