I am looking at getting a cold air intake for my 08 4.0 V6. I am undecided between a k & n 55 series or the trd. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. :help:

    getting there....
if you really wanna spend the money......afe and urd make some really nice intakes, as do volant and trd. i had an airaid(for sale now actually) on my 06 and it was alright, but im just gonna say this.................i would skip on an intake(expensive as hell, and they get their best performance in the upper rpms) and i would remove the secondary filter, and install a good drop in filter, such as an afe pro dry s(non oiled....only needs to be cleaned and reinstalled), and you will more than likely have better throttle response, and you'll have decent gas mileage increase, and it'll be alot cheaper than any intake out there. jsut a heads up, and my .02.:)

AFE ProDryS FTW. The OEM system already IS a CAI so unless you're going to go with something more "radical" like the URD (it involves cutting and sits out in front of the radiator), you won't see too much in the way of gains.

AFE website only lists a Pro Dry drop in filter for the 4 cyl.

Is it the same filter for the 6cyl? If it is not, give me the part number please.

    Thanks.
