I've been back and forth on trimming my OEM front mud flaps or picking up some Husky ones. It appears that the Husky ones only fit on 05-14 and 2015 has a unique molding? What are others using for their 2015 front mud flaps

Strange, even their website says "it may not fit my ride"

I'll buy from Amazon and return if I have any fitting issues

I trimmed several inches off my 15 stock flaps. If you take them off there will be a gouge in the plastic where they rub against the fender flares.

I started a mud flap thread a few weeks back. Seems everyone is split about running, trimming, after market or taking off. I’m not a fan of them personally. Was thing about going with weather tech but, they only look a little shorter. I think I’m removing this weekend. Tons of trucks don’t have them and I like the look without. If I don’t like the look after I remove them I’ll just slap them back on. LOL

After my first real camping trip with the taco its apparent I either need soft flexible mud flaps or to remove them entirely. Front and rear were scraping rocks and ruts the entire time on the trail, once I got to the site I removed the front. This leads to a two part question

Are there any aftermarket soft/flexible flaps that are purpose built and don't look like crap?

I've read those who run no flaps have their fenders/rockers blasted by rocks and dirt, do any clear plastic "shields" exist that can be stuck to these areas?
