    again thanks for everyones input.

Ok so i'm going to go with the AEM AFR standalone gauge setup to monitor my AFR's.

Question is which gauge is better?

AEM has 1 gauge that doesn't need to be calibrated and seems to be able to read lower AFR's (loonks like down to 8)

and the other Gauge needs to be calibrated and look like it can only go down to 10?

which gauge will be more reliable and last for the long run

calibratable? or set without ability to calibrate?

OK so i am going with speedhut custom gauges so that i can have matching Boost and AFR.

the custom speedhut AFR gauges do not come with sensors so i need to source a inline sensor for my AFR gauge.

speedhut has a few options as far as choices like AEM and some others.

    does anyone have any experience with these AFR gauges and what would be the best brand for inline sensors that would work with their gauges;

heres a link to their custom gauge page and different options for inline controllers/sensors. i need a 2 1/16.

    2-1/16" Standalone Air/Fuel Wideband O2 gauge 8.5-18 (w/ warning) / SKU: GR-AFWB-09
    • Includes Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband O2 sensor (and bung) which is compatible with all fuel types (Unleaded, Leaded, E85, Diesel, or Methanol)
This is the one I would go with. I sure wouldn't pay $220 for a gauge that didn't come with a sensor.

thanks for the input. i was looking at the digital style AFR but they only come without the controller or hardware.

good thing is the gauge is only $109 so i have another $110-$120 to spend on a "good" wideband controller.

anyone know what the best brand would be as far as wideband controllers? (AEM, Innovate, NGK AFX, Spartan Lambda, or PLX)?

thanks again all for any inputs

Ok next question is about fuel injectors.

I have read that these supra injectors are plug and play and can work with the stock ecu. is that a correct statement and are these the correct injectors?

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Denso-Fuel-Injector-Set-for-Toyota-3-0-I6-23250-46030/222223841039?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

this seller also has them for sale for a little more money but he has a better full description of what the injectors "can" do. looks like they are the same injectors with the same part number.

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Toyota-TRD-...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

are these the correct ones that i need?

I have 305cc's of a Supra but they are teal vs the dark brown...?
Denso injectors off of a '97 Supra worked on my truck, plug & play.

Looks like the guy on that second ebay post knows what he's talking about. He covers a lot of good points and the info lines up with what I've heard when I was researching mine. Only thing is the color, again, mine are teal colored.

    thank you for the reply.

i also noticed that the second seller gives a lot more information on what the injectors can be used for.

both of the listings seem to have the same injector (can anyone confirm that they are the same) with the same part number.

both injectors look dark broen and not teal.

did you need to do any other upgrades to make the supra injectors work or did it just plug and play and help with the supercharger lack of fueling issue?

does anyone else have these brown supra injectors.

it seems that these brown injectors were used in the supra until 1995

and the teal injectors are from the 1997 supra. the injectors look totally different.

can anyone else confirm what injectors i need to plug and play with my 2004 3.4L v6 automatic tacoma.

FYI I just bought a set of those eBay 23250-46030 injectors to try. I have previously tried the 23250-70080 supra injectors and could not get my FIC6 to control them in my 1999 SCed 3.4l. So I guess Ill try these ones.

There seems to be a lot of misinformation out there about all these different injectors, so Ill give you an update if you haven't already ordered them as well.

any updates or progress on your injector install.

getting back to installing this supercharger and still trying to find the best way to compensate for fuel.

bigger injectors with AEM fic-6 or URD 7th......

which would be the easier route?

just going to stick with stock pulley

I finally got around to installing the 23250-46030 injectors, they seem to be running perfect. I am still working on the tune but the FIC6 is controlling them no problem.

When I first went to install them I thought there was no way they would seal into the lower plenum but after swapping the lower grommet from the stock injector over to the new 23250-46030 and snugging down the fuel rail, sure enough they sealed.

    thanks for the reply.

how did you end up wiring in the AEM? did you buy a PnP harness or did you splice in yourself?

how did you set your initial tune for the aem?

sorry for all the questions just excited to get started on this project/install.

I first made my own PNP harness from a scrap yard ecu. Then after having issues that I couldn't track down, I went ahead and ordered the URD PNP harness and made all my connections into it. I still think there are issues with signal noise that is causing a hestitation/stumble when the fuel trims kick in but Ive kinda been able to tune it around it.

    http://friedrice.blogspot.com.au

Read that guys blog, he has a great how to on setting up the initial tune.

    any updates on your progress?

did you get rid of the signal noise?

still didn't finalize on what route to take. I already have the FIC and injectors but seems pretty complex install and tune porcedure. may just sell it and go the the URD 7th for more ease of install and tune.

You just need to try it. It works well and it seems some trucks don't have near the issues I have. I haven't been driving it, it sounds like Im needing to rebuild my SC, I can hear the bearings rattling around.

Plus the more guys that run it the bigger the pool of knowledge about it will become!
