Funny, I've had spacers with progressive rate springs in front for 300,000 miles.
Moderate off roading, have hit curbs dead on at 40mph running from 5-0(don't ask).
    Everything still fine

If your happy with how your truck rides they'll be fine. They will be stiffer bit shouldnt change the ride much. I despised the factory ride/performance, so I upgraded.

To the people who say it makes the ride harsher, can you tell us how or why?

I ran $45 billet aluminum eBay spacers on my Tacoma for the entire 5 years I owned it. Never one problem. You are flushing money down the toilet if you want the spacers to say tough country, toytec, rancho.....common man, the same damn kid in China makes all of them.

In response to people posting collapsed struts, I've seen that happen many a times to bone stock suspension. Think about it. If you beat on your truck hard enough, do you really think a rod and some sheet metal is going to survive lol. I think an even more obvious example of people pushing their trucks too hard is the first gen raptor frames bending and then people trying to blame Ford. The problem is behind the steering wheel you silly gooses.

I just upgraded to OME full kit with UCAs but I originally put airbags on to tow. You should always run an airbag with a little pressure so I was too rear high so I added a 1" spacer( 2" front lift) and bumped up rear psi a little to level. Ran that for over a year with Zero issue, and no noticeable major change in handling but I like a stiff, tight suspension. I do go off-road a bunch to hunt, fish, camp, drive logging roads, etc. I don't "off road" or "wheel" like when I was younger but I get out there. So, I enjoy it but don't beat the shit out of a 3yo truck. To summarize, ad a spacer, cheap lift, or whatever YOU want. But know the difference in quality, ride and price.

I was talking with the lift shop and they tried to talk me out of a full OME kit saying it will be stiff and that a rough country spacer lift would be better because it would be smoother. Also told me the Rough Country lift was solid and wouldn't fail.

Said the compete opposite of most recommendations here saying, "u paid 40k on a new truck why ruin it by replacing all the suspension."
