Looks awesome! What lights did you buy? And what did you end up wiring them to?

So I'm looking to do the raptor light mod. Any suggestions of how to do it on a pro grille? I've seen adios way and although it's sleek as hell, I don't want to cut my grille at all.

I'd like to only have three leds on the top bar pictured here, but the bar in the center gets in the way.

    top bar.jpg

Would it look good to do 4 evenly spaced out here? Or should I put three on top of the middle bar like pictured here?

    Thanks for any help!

Finished my raptor mod today finally! Took a while to figure out where I wanted to connect into. Ended up splicing all hot wires together (like most guys did) and tap spliced it into my drivers side marker light. I chose that because I wanted to control them without adding any switches and be able to run my DRLs without them if I wanted. I also wanted to avoid cutting into OEM wire bundles and figured the 2 inch wire on the marker light would be easier to replace if I messed it up. Now I can run DRLs by themselves or add the raptor mod lights and side marker lights by turning to the next setting (parking I believe) and they stay on through all other modes.

Wow!! Yours look awesome! And you must have a hell of a camera too. I figured out a good way to mount them without modifying the grill too much.

Also the inferno truck isn't mine, I just used it for the refrence.

I routed my wires just like yours and they're invisible. I shot my photo with a Canon 5D Mk IV with a 100-400mm and polarized filter. What did you end up wiring your lights up to for control?

I just wired them from an add a fuse to one of the fuses the comes on once the truck is on. I can't remember which one but they're on whenever the truck is on.

I have an add a fuse ready to go but I can't get any of the fuses that I've tried to power on with truck and shut off with truck. The raptor lights either stay lit constantly with a live fuse or don't work at all. Any suggestions on which fuse to tap into here:

Basically anything that is only able to come on with the key in the ignition turned to "on". So the radio fuse or fog light fuses should work.

Not sure how long until they restock, but there are 2 or 3 products that have different names but are all the same bolt black and amber LED, could try those

Glad to see this mod is still being done after all these years. Just wanted to share the irony of my situation... I started out doing this mod b/c I liked the raptor lights and 3.5 years later, I sold my Taco to my brother and picked up a raptor. Who would've thought :)

I have always thought those look amazing. The new Ford Ranger Raptor should be insane, hopefully will push Toyota into looking at higher end engines, front lockers, rear discs, seats that move, etc

Does anyone know which wire I could tap into to make the raptor lights come on when the DRLs are on? I currently am tapped into the parking lights positive wire.
