You kidding me? It’s going to rain. I’ll just repost photos of a trip I took about a year ago and visit my local Starbucks.

 

First day of my new job

Got the bug to mod my truck recently.

I was like “hell yeah what can I spend $1500 on to make my truck bad ass veteran status.

So I make a few calls



And decided to do a sick overlanding/wheeling mod.

I ordered my parts


Then had to wait like 5 freaking weeks! I kept calling and to tell them that Amazon does this shit in two days! I mean even pregnant chicks are pissed after 5 weeks.



But it finally showed.

I made sure to watch and comment on everything the pro did while installing. Had to make sure he knew that I knew all about modding trucks.

I was like “you sure about that socket driver? I would have used a claw head” and under my breath “pssh newb”.

Anyway hopefully I’m modded enough to hit some trails now. Do some overlanding like all the legitimate veterans.

Anyone Overland hwy 1? Not sure if I’m ready but maybe I can tag along on the next gang bang it out run.

 

Didn't read all the way through, but is 101 allowed? Or to pussy for NorCal Hwy 1 diehearts? I've done both, so maybe covered.

 

Pretty sure you'll need to add a surfboard rack before you tackle hwy 1.

 

Not sure. Did you overlanding them? If so you’ll have to find your way over to the bad ass veteran thread.

I stayed in a crack den (motel 6) on a surf trip to SoCal does that make me an over lander

 

So NorCal, are we talking Redwoods or Wine Country, a little vague on the north part. Tend to think anything north of SF is north, enter my country if you want to know north.

Good call on the long bed, so that way you have more window space for all the white oval geography stickers you can start ordering on Amazon.

I guess it was less over land and more over sheets as I was afraid to find out what was under them in the hotel bed

You're not an overlander untill you've tackled THE I-5. Make sure to prepare for the trip though. You'll need at least a dozen light bars, a couple sets of maxtrax and at least 3 batteries with a solar panel.
