Couldn't help myself.....had to do burgers in plain sight of our new rides.

Wife and I both bought new Toyotas last week.

Her's is a Limited RAV-4 and mine is an SR5 Double Cab 4x4.

We are both mighty happy with our new vehicles.

Figured that tonight I'd do and old favorite....burgers.....these should be renamed "Burgers with a view", lol.

Everything is underway....getting sides ready now.

One of the cool things about this cook was it was started just after I prepped a new smoker and rolled it back into the garage. It's gonna get a test run on a porkfest on my next day off....Monday.

Finished burger pics coming soon.....when they are ready.

What brand / model smoker is that? Looks pretty stout.

And do you do the burgers around the perimeter of the grill, not over direct heat?

The smoker is an Old Country Pecos.

The burgers.....yes, I usually spread the coals out and keep the vents adjusted to 1/2.

Tonight, though....I had to get my giddyup on.

    So it would seem........I goofed.

    Had stuff cooking inside & outside. I don't multi-task worth a damn.
