I'm a hunter... not in the Bay Area though.

But most of the Bay Area hunters seem to drive East and hunt where I do... does that count?

Once you get your Hunter's Safety, then get your Hunting License... as long as you have a valid hunting license, you never have to take the stupid firearms safety certificate bullcrap test when you buy a new gun.

Get it. Start hunting small game it’s cheap and a great excuse to get outdoors. All you need is a .22 and you can start making rabbit stew :infantry:

I have a c&r license, so I bypass the safety cert.

Just picked up a compound bow. Going to get it set up at predator's archery. I should be ready (probably not) to start hunting by 2019 if I put in the practice time. But I would be down to tag along.
