Coilovers I got off CL for $400. I will ship the COs out to be rebuilt at some point. Their pretty beat up. Have talked with DC shock service, they can get me squared up. I've got em apart, springs off n all that shit.

Started a little convo with Wheelers. Black Friday comin' up. Never gotten in on it, what a fuckin loser I am.

I've gotten the COs taken apart. Pretty rough. Make some nice rebuild before and after shots though.

Ended up being taken apart by a Honda tech, at a Honda dealer, der.

First took them to the local "Offroad" shop, Trails West. Buncha pussies. Sat on their floor, in the same spot for 2 weeks before I had enough of their girling out. Offroad Jeep shop nonetheless.

Tried the Toyota dealer. Their machine was not mounted, new shop/dealership building.

Ended up at said Toyota dealers sister Honda dealer/shop. Threw a tech some cash to take em apart for me.

I could have done this myself, but no way in hell would I ever trust those bar compressors, ever. I quit wrenchin, no more access to all the crap I used to have access to.

I know. I was awe struck myself. And not just in, but a hella high dive in.

Goal is to have parts and a 2nd truck and said parts on said truck by March LBL 2018.

All cash build. No debt here. Take offs and freebies always welcome.

2nd truck will be a salvage title/blown engine, trans/wrecked 2nd gen. Something i can pick up on the relative cheap. I can fix it, no worries on that, finding what i want may be tough.

I am a real cheap date. Real cheap.

Been stupid drunk enough times to know. One hand is enough to count the times i have been totally wasted though.

Now wife about raped my drunk ass one night when we first met. Power hour followed by a cpl glasses. Playing spades, I could only tell the card color. She was pretty much on my lap " helping"

Then I puked off her back porch.

She goes " did you just puke"
    Me: "uh, naw"

As i wipe shit from the corner of my mouth.

I had the COs taken apart....for shipping reasons. Their heavy as hell. All the weight is in the spring. Be a lot cheaper, I think, to disassemble, send bodies out, save a lot on shipping, have them rebuilt, ship back to me and I can get the springs put back on.
