In case your wondering.. they fit no rubbing..have not done the body mount chop yet... The tire is a Toyo AT II Extreme Open Country. standard 2" lift Toytec Boss 2.5s with add a leaf in back. SPC UCAs.

They were on the wife's 100 series Landcruiser and I stole 'em.. She gets the 285/75/16 BFG TA KO2s.

The Toyos in this size measure out at 33.4 and the BFGs were 32.7, the Toyos are about .75 inch bigger in diameter and 11.6 wide also vs BFG 11.3.

I am going on a desert trip soon, so will report back on rubbing at articulation but I tested a bit already and no rubbing..

    Like, so many.
I'm really surprised those don't rub.

Well, I am running SPC UCAs. Also, I was running 285s and they are 11.3 wide on an 8" rim, but my TRD rims are 7.5" wide so that must push the sidewall in a bit. The Toyos are 11.6" wide and my fingers still fit between the UCAs. The rubbing may come with articulation and stuffing, will see. Turning full right or left no rubbing.

What brand tire are you running? IF BFG those are 11.5 wide on an 8" wheel and 32.8" tall. If you had it aligned post tire install, they might have set the tire back to far, I think that is the Caster setting. Same thing happened to me, guy rolled out of the shop and turned the wheel at it rubbed with my 285/75/16s BFGs.. I was like hello, that is not gonna work.." so they adjusted the caster.. And it was a 4x4 shop.. So I was kind of pissed that they would not have tested, thought about articulation, etc..

Also I don't have factory lower front bumper plastic anymore.

    Hope this helps.

Well back from the Maze District in Canyonlands, UT. Did a fair amount of wheeling in a short period of time. Lots of off camber with max turning and articulation. Minimal rubbing. On occasion I would rub, but nothing binding or hindering driving.

So I won't be doing a Body mount chop.

I will say these tires are a great fit with my set up, super glad I switched over to this size.

That would be cool, would depend on wheel size, tire size, UCAs, alignment, plus might have to do the body mount chop and bumper...

Yep, easy finger space back there. I have 1/8th spacers in the garage but did not use them.

The FJ wheel is about perfect for helping fit 285s/295s.
    16x7.5/15mm offset/4-7/8" backspace.
