    250k miles
    It would be nice to find one that doesn't require an adapter bracket. However it could be made pretty easily by a machine shop or fabricator. If that's the case then you can really pick whatever caliper you want.

    Eh, most calipers have carriers, this is just a custom carrier. Anything that uses the stock mounting location is almost certainly not going to allow a much larger rotor. You may find a better caliper, but you get a significant torque advantage with size. More braking torque means less effort and less heat.
