5100s Question

Hey all -

Wanted to get some opinions on this. I have an ‘08 TRD OR 4x4 access cab and am putting 5100s all around. I have the stock 3 leafs in the back, and i know that typically to level this out I would want to go with .85” on the billies. However, I have a hybrid winch bumper (with winch) mounted on the front, adding about 150 lbs. I am therefore wondering if 1.75” would be a better setting. Any thoughts or insight is appreciated!

 

you should be fine going 1.75 and still being level.

 

conventional wisdom would tell you that you're better off getting heavier weight springs to handle the weight of the bumper over using preloaded stock coils on 5100's.
