Bit of a drive for breakfast from my side of town but next time I'm in the area I'm going to give it a try!

Found some good sound clips and video on YouTube and it does sound pretty good but I'm going to have to turn it down for now. Just bought an alarm for the Tacoma.

What did you end up going with if you don't mind me asking? and you doing the install yourself or taking it somewhere?

I went with a Viper 5706v for the actual alarm and added Viper SmartStart with GPS tracking to it. It had a lot of good reviews, all the features I wanted, and more.

I think I'd like to give it a shot installing it myself but I've never done an alarm before. Once it comes in I'm going to read over the installation instructions and see what I'm in for.

Sweet, sounds like a really nice setup! Id love to put one on my 4cyl, especially since it didn't come with the chipped keys from the factory.. I'd also like to try and install one myself. Let me know how it goes once you get everything in and start reading through it!

The dealer sent me some PDF installation instructions. I'll be happy to forward them to you, just PM me an email. I think with that and the user manual I SHOULD be able to do it. They also preprogrammed everything specific to the truck so it should be plug and play as well.

If anyone else wants a $950 alarm for $239 I can show you where I got mine.

    EDIT: $239

I was hoping to go again in December and take candied pecans for the group. I have gun club meeting on Sunday.

I already drove to Austin this month. I've met my quota.

    Also, yard work :ballchain:
