Need to replace my leafs as they are 17 years old. Heard that 01-04 5 lugs sat higher and am wondering if I could put an stock replacement for those years on my 2000. Looking for a little more lift on the rear.

ive got a stock 97 pack with a 3" aal for a 6 lug. it added about an 1 1/2" of lift and its still nice and plush. It'll be on sale pretty soon, im getting a custom leaf pack being made by springworks.
You could always get an aal or shackles.:notsure: Some people even do blocks but i wouldn't recommend that.

I've been thinking about putting prerunner springs on mine.

Don't quote me...but I thought 5 lugs were spring under and prerunner and 4x4 were spring over.

Doesn't mean you can't mount them under the axle

You can but if you use 6 lug springs you'll only lower the truck. I put a 3" lift 6 lug aal and got just under 1" of lift from it

Does anyone know how much lift over stock you will really get from the deaver j59 leaf pack it says 1.5 but I heard people complain about more then 3 inch’s. I just got some shity rancho quick lift coil overs up front will that be to much lift for the reer? looking to get new beefier than stock leaf springs with out a huge lift. How did you make out with with those 5 lugs leafs?

I put a 3" aal on my flat 5 lug leafs n it gave my truck the stink bug look. That was before I did anything to the front.
