Mind does okay, though it struggles going up hills.

Does yours have positraction or at least a limited-slip rear differential?

My Taco has what I call a "fake posi." It's technically an open diff, but my truck has both traction control and an auto LSD. Shutting off the traction control "locks" the differential so both rear wheels spin, simulating positraction. It's gotten me out of a few sticky situations before, where someone with a traditional open rear probably would have had to call a tow truck.

That said, I think if you take it slow, your truck will do okay in the snow.

Couldn't help but notice your truck...

When I first got my Platinum Apex 16-inch rims in October 2013, I had to get the new TPMS sensors programmed to the truck's TPMS system. While I was at the dealer waiting for this to be done in November 2013, I test drove a brand new RC 4x4 they had on the lot. It was Super White and it had an automatic transmission (this was before I knew how to drive stick), and since it was late in the year it may have in fact been a 2014. Either way, I absolutely loved the truck, and honestly, at this point if something happened to my current Taco I'd buy a 2009-2012 RC 4x4.

The text my friend Doug sent me should explain very well what happened here...

    image.jpg

My friend, who's an Aspie like me, was not injured. The animal seems to have survived the initial impact, as it ran off. The car, a 2011 Nissan Altima 3.5SL, does not seem to have any damage beyond the busted window...

This guy pulled into the parking lot of the Starbucks while I was out and about. I started chatting with him and found out some stuff about the truck. It's a 2002 with the 2.7L and 5-speed stick. He is the original owner. The frame was replaced under recall in about 2009. The truck currently has almost 300K miles on it!

I thought this would involve putting your truck in neutral and pushing...

An open hood makes a decent one armed shoulder press too.

Decline push-ups on the bed, etc..

    LOL...

I actually dented my left rear fender while leaning over the bed to grab a cinder block...

All I had to was get under the truck, reach up, and push the dent out...

A few days later, a coworker pushed the same dent back in while we were unloading liquor (I work at a bar), and I had to push it back out again...

This house is practically brand new, built on the site of a former parking lot last year. It's worth over $2 million and has a 3-car garage in the back...
