If you're referring to the cold comment I'll reply with this: I'm from florida, I've been cold for 2 months already. It's still well into the 70s where I moved from.

If it's just bad scheduling then my response is that if I wait that long I'll probably blow up the truck from running it lean if I don't swap it tomorrow lol.

RTT

 

I like it so far. If need be without putting up the windows, i can have the tent up in less than 5 minutes. Packed back away in about the same time.

 

Y'all camp differently than me I suppose. I'd hate to pack the tent away every time I wanted to go somewhere.

 

Base camp, you don't need a RTT. Camping on the move not in the same spot or 1 night trip, legit 10x easier and faster than putting up a ground tent. Plus your gear is already inside the tent so no need to pack and unpack it. Of course theres downsides to everything and some instances I may still use my ground tent when needed. However, most it'll be the RTT.

 

That thing got an inflated air mattress in it? I camp in style.


Also I mostly camp at Sebring for the 12 hour race in march. Lots of beer and ice runs over the week, we use the vehicles a lot. If I was going innawoods for some hunting, fishing, or relaxing, I might could see not needing the truck at all for a day or two.

 

3" foam sleeping pad. But you also cant take your truck out of a gravel lot....remember.

 

I mean I can, I'll just rip off the body work and then get stuck.

It really doesn't weigh as much as I anticipated it to either. Gave it a little off-road test and didn't think it was too bad.

 

For me at least, there's an extra step or two mixed in there with lots of cursing in between...
