That's the plan. Will drive to and from work for a couple days and if it still looks good, will go in for the service.

 

That is very similar to mine, an AVH 2330NEX. I just have Carplay/Android Auto (navigation through my phone).

 

niceeee once my current HU takes a shit ill be going NAV for suree and will probably upgrade to the iData Link Maestro while I'm at it haha no rush tho cuz god damn they get pricey!! how do u like the NEX unit? have u upgraded any speakers? I wouldn't mind a cost effective upgrade, I really don't mind the stock sound so I'm not down to drop lots of coin on a system, I'm not into it as I use to be back in high school but I do enjoy quality sound, just no need for big boom boom hahaha

 

Also, i put the back up cam in the factory location inside my popnlock handle. Because i’m awesome. Took forever to get it perfect by myself. But there is no better option unless you have a tire gate and can’t put it there lol

I like It! I spent way more than I originally planned too. I am just running the stock JBL components. But just with the HU change, there is a noticeable difference in sound quality.

 

yeah I think that's what usually happens haha but as long as you're happy that's what counts! yeah I don't have the JBL, not sure how much of a difference there is between JBL and non jbl but I'm sure there are some noticeable differences. one of these days ill upgrade the speakers but I'm in no rush at this point haha like I said I don't mind the stock sounds but I know theres room for improvement. plus I need to slow down the spending lol once the lift and armor is taken care of I need to recoop from the nose dive I took since I bought the truck hahaha

 

I have factory backup cam. But not factory location. Also it goes to the rear view mirror. So small

If you upgrade your HU, you can move it from the mirror to the HU.

 

I like mine in the review mirror. Have had other vehicles in the HU, I don't like looking down into my dash area. Maybe it's just me here, but seems more practical to look in the mirror.
