I recently posted a few pics of the BBQ stand I had built, now I will make a thread about the whole back yard. My wife has been longing to do something with our back yard. I was a small dated patio and dirt. There was a lawn there at one time but the 5 year drought and time had taken a toll on it.

We decide to break into the savings and do a major upgrade. We were recommended a good landscaper and after looking at his work and going over our ideas we set it in motion. We ordered over 1000 square feet of Arizona gold flagstone, 1000 square feet of sod, a new spa and a BBQ.

They started by more than doubling the size of the slab including the small side yard that was gravel.

It took two craftsmen about a week to cut and hand fit each piece into place.

Next they started the BBQ stand and the 63 foot planter bed wall.

Then they used a nice brown grout.

    The small side yard.

I had to increase the size of the pergola I built to fit the new spa.

I also ran a dedicated 20A CFGI circuit for the spa.

    My wife's little corner.

    And now it's done.
