The van looks absolutely sick, is that you're daily driver?

Only you can decide! They are totally different vehicles (obviously, not trying to be smart)

My mom loves her road trek

People spend thousands trying to turn a Tacoma into a Sprinter.

I’d keep it unless your heart is wandering. Unless you’re doing rock crawling or tight trails, or that isn’t a diesel 4x4 Sprinter then you’re losing in the trade IMO.

I thought about turning a Mercedes sprinter van into a decked out luxury van, something to chill with friends in and for a road trip.

Check out agile off road. They make Sprinter stuff. They are true old school Baja guys that know what they are doing.

A Sprinter 4x4 crew van is what I am hoping my next ride will be. The 50k price tag is what has been holding me back.

I found exactly what I wanted at Walters in riverside, and fletcher jones in Vegas, neither dealer would deal in any way on the price. Best I could get them too was 49k for the crew van 4x4 with the 3.0 diesel. I don't want the high top or extended version as it will be my daily driver as well.
Other then that, I think they are awesome.

Only because of the pic there! The mountians in the back look really sweet!

But in all reality if I didn't have to deal with Southern California traffic in the way people drive, I take the sprinter.

Could always do Ford Transit with a Quigley or . I have been finding slightly used ones around the $20-25K mark...conversion is $12-13K...so well below a Sprinter. Plus you can get them in gas, no diesel emissions BS to deal with down the road.

Honestly don't think you need 4WD if you only need it to get to trail heads. Me...rather explore the back country on a motorcycle than in a vehicle. Just faster and can get into tighter spots.

While I have been a pickup guy for years and years, think my next truck is going to be a van. Just more practical for what I want to do. Haul bikes and camp out of it.

Would like to do a GTRV poptop on a mid roof Transit, so I wouldn't have to move things around for a quickie pull off the side of the road and sleep....just pop the top and sleep above the bikes.

One on a low roof, but they said they can do any roof height.
