    Tim I remember when you last posted that thing. Probably the nicest chain sharpening tool there is. But at $125 it's a little steep for the average home saw runner and a fortune for someone looking for a $200 cap :p. Lloyd, just buy the correct size file and watch a youtube yideo or two and with a little practice you'll be able to sharped chains just fine.

    I saw the price and my priorities changed back to getting a file and a private sharpening lesson from @Wheelspinner

    I just know that if you do it wrong, you could make it less safe.

    You'll be fine. A lesson or video and take your time. It's really easy once you get the hang of it. You can also get guides that keep the file at the correct angle if you don't feel comfortable eyeballing it.
